Loved this place-- the coffee, the staff, the atmosphere. I'm a huge fan of a non pretentious cafe that loves making quality coffee from quality beans. This is it! They have Pacamara beans both washed and natural processed when I was there. I took home a bag of Gesha to try too. I'll be back 🙂

Excellent coffee, cappuccino made to perfection. We also had hot chocolate with oat milk and normal milk, both creamy and delicious. The alfajor latte was also excellent.

Salvadoran Coffee: a legacy in the History of a great country

The History of coffee in El Salvador begins in the early 19th century when it was first introduced to the country. By 1850, coffee had replaced indigo as the primary crop, thriving in the mountainous regions of Ahuachapan and Santa Ana where ideal growing conditions existed.

The 20th century presented challenges like the great depression and civil war that tested the coffee industry´s resillience. Despite these difficulties, Salvadoran coffee adapted and envolved. Today, the country is internationally celebrated for its specialty coffees, particulary the Bourbon and Pacamara variaties, which attrac gourmet buyers and coffee tourism.
